Using technology with K-5 students has been shown to be effective and beneficial to the learning process. As teachers, there are also many resources that we can take advantage of to help plan and assess our lessons. In addition, using technology can make lesson planning less time consuming with the use of pre-made templates, quick sharing, and easily accessible virtual folders.

Many of these softwares, such as Excel and Powerpoint, are already downloaded to your computer by your district. If you are in need of additional softwares that are not already provided, contact your resource representative or see my previous post for suggestions on private grants.
The best advice I have, is to start exploring these different sites and resources to find out which is right for you and your classroom!
